LSP on TLC's "Cake Boss"

On July 11, Lisa Marie Latino, executive producer of Long Shot Productions, was surprised with a cake on TLC's hit show "Cake Boss!"

On the episode titled "Bugs, Break Ups and Burned Out", her friend Danielle, a cake decorator at the famed Carlos Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey, approached Buddy Valastro about an idea for a breakup cake, to celebrate Lisa's launch back into the dating scene.

Buddy and Danielle's imaginations ran wild! The duo created a three-tier cake with Lisa, dressed as a bride, kicking her ex fiance off the top, along with his belongings. "Kick him to the curb honey!" Buddy exclaimed as he put the finishing touches on his latest masterpiece. "You go girl!"

2011 LSP Year in Review...So Far!

It's hard to believe that 2011 is halfway over! Where has the time gone? Time definitely does fly when you are working as much as we've been!

The first six months of '11 saw us building a bigger client base, as well as branching into photography and web design. We've also been busy pitching out our two TV shows, "The Godfather of New Jersey" and "Single Parenthood: New Jersey" to major networks!

The next few entries will highlight all of this year's exciting projects thus far!

Route 10 Productions Presents: "The Godfather of New Jersey"

Long Shot Productions, in association with 89 Productions, joined forces to create Route 10 Productions and present to you "The Godfather of New Jersey"!

"The Godfather of New Jersey" follows a family-run pizzeria and restaurant in East Hanover, NJ.

JERRY FORTE immigrated from Italy and started his business in 1975. After years of hard work, he's slowly stepping back and letting his sons take over the business: older son GENNARO (who is lovable, charismatic yet extremely hotheaded) and younger son JASON (a dedicated worker but with a sneaky side).

As GENNARO and JASON wrestle over who reigns supreme, they must also maintain a busy restaurant with over 40 employees. With smart-ass JIMMY, temperamental TOMMY and goofy CHESTER leading the pack, that's no small task, and lots of comedy and drama ensues.

Happy New Year from LSP!

2010 was a big year for us at Long Shot Productions. By our first birthday, we completed two sizzle reels to be pitched to major networks, went to Italy to film a documentary, and got to work with an amazing array of clients. It was 24/7/365 of work, work, work but filled with lifelong lessons and unforgettable memories. We truly believe that 2010 laid the groundwork for 2011's successes!
